Some thirty years ago in the ancient South Devon stannary town of Ashburton, a showroom specialising in antique fireplaces opened that went by the name of Ashburton Marbles. News of the ever-changing, extensive and remarkable range spread and fifteen years later, the business outgrew their premises, moved to Great Hall in North Street and so began Adrian Ager Ltd.
